Panasonic PT-D3500U - Setup

Out of the box(es) you get the projector and the standard lens packed separately. Believe me, it takes longer to unbox than the few seconds it takes to install or change a lens. Changing the lamp is easy, and does not require removing the projector from a ceiling mount. The door accessing the lamp assembly is located in the back of the projector - a thoughtful place to place it. (Some projectors have put the lamp door on the top of the projector so the projector doesn't have to be unmounted, but in that case - if your not careful - oops - the lamp can accidently be dropped out of the bottom facing top of the projector. There are plenty of settings to adjust, but only the networking controls are likely to take any time or require anything but the most superficial glance at the excellent manyual. There are plenty of controls for professionals but for more casual use, this Panasonic projector is no more complicated than any typical "end user friendly" lightweight portable projector.
