Vivitek H9080FD Projector - Warranty

Vivitek provides a three year parts and labor warranty.

Two years is the most common warranty among 1080p home theater projectors. A few others out there offer three years, and a fair number of the lower cost 1080p projectors have only a one year warranty.

The Vivitek H9080FD projector is a tank. It's heavy, solid construction is what might be described as commercial grade. It certainly feels and looks expensive, and well built. We have no long term experience, however, with Vivitek, and therefore have no opinion regarding their customer support and handling of warranty issues. With the significant price tag of the H9080FD, however, one has reason to expect first class support.

Like almost all manufacturers, Vivitek does not offer a replacement program. Still, a few manufacturers have replacement programs (some for the first year only, and a couple, for the duration of the entire warranty).
