Question: There are some popular home theater projectors out there that you haven't reviewed. Why?
Answer: Mostly, it's sourcing issue - getting the projector for review. Some companies, like InFocus, have lists "a mile long" of print and online reviewers trying to get their hands on their products for review. We get to doing the review when we finally get the product.
Most manufacturers put out their review units through their PR firms and we have to go on a waiting list. In some cases, I am successful in getting a projector in from the manufacturer's sales reps, or even borrowing one from one of the several dealers that I know well.

I have (as of this writing, for example) been waiting 2 months for the Sim2 C3X and still don't have a confirmed date for getting one. I'm trying right now, to go through a dealer to get an HC3000 Mitsubishi home theater projector to review, and I'm trying to get a good contact at Sony, for their 3 chip SXRD (LCOS) VPL-100 projector, etc.
