To start earning money with your blog, start with Google Adsense but add other stuff gradually as your traffic increases. Just a thought!

Thanks for the thought. I've got a couple of banners up, and Google Adsense pays lousy - at my level they keep about 75%, not worth the trouble. -art

Robert,
Thanks so much for the info. I was planning on purchasing an RS2, but I think that I will hold off for the newer models. I surely hope Art will allow you to post your contact information so that we might be able to purchase the projectors at a lower cost.

Hi Bert (and Robert),

Sorry, gotta discourage folks from pitching product sales in the blogs. It annoys the hell out of the dealers that spend money advertising (which means the folks that put food on my table.) Robert is more than welcome to advertise, doesn't cost that much to get the word out, and we have one banner spot that's only on the blog, not on the full site, for small advertising budgets. Best I can offer - art

The HD750 is incredible, the color management system is excellent allowing users to fine tune the primary and secondary colors for saturation, hue and brightness, along with RGB gain and offsets letting users get the HD750 and RS20 to exacting standards. The HD350 is nearly identical to the HD750 in terms of picture quality, it lacks a PC input, 12v trigger, the full color management and THX certification. As my JVC rep stated though, "the 350 would have easily met and exceeded THX specifications, but we wanted to differenciate the models. The HD350 and RS10 are the same projector, the contrast ratio is the identical even though JVC Pro is claiming 32000:1 for the RS10 vs 30000:1 for the HD350. The RS10 does have a 12v trigger, but is selling for $500 more than the HD350. Unfortunately, the HD750 and RS20 has been delayed until January, the RS10 and HD350 is slated to begin shipping next week. For those wondering, the HD350 exceeds the quality of the HD100/RS2 in many ways. The clarity and sharpness of the picture, shadow detail, no light leakage, fully motorized lens, apeture control, SILENT!!! even in High Altitude mode you it was quieter than the HD100/RS2. And yes, they had the HD100 on display as well. Funny thing is, my rep is trying to move the HD100's he has left by knocking off $500.00 yet I can buy the HD350 at retail for less and it exceeds the proformance of the HD100 at my dealer cost. The retail pricing on the units are as follows HD350 $4,495.00, RS10 $4,995.00, HD750 $7,495.00 and RS20 $7,495.00. The difference between the models are as follows: the RS have high gloss finish and gold trim, the HD models are pearl finish and "platinum" trim. The RS10 has a 12v trigger. Again these are retail pricing, if anyone is interested and Art allows I will post my information so people can contact me about ordering units at better prices. Art you were wise to wait on getting an RS2, you're going to be very happy with these new models. The units shown at CEDIA were only 60% done, the HD750 I saw yesterday was claimed to be only 90 to 95% done, hence the delay. I've already ordered myself an HD350 for display and sold an HD750 to be installed the moment it arrives, there is going to be a rush on these projectors, most everyone at training started putting in orders.

I will be attending formal training this coming Friday Nov. 21st on the new JVC products particularly the HD350 and HD750. The new specs do state 30,000:1 on the HD350 and 50,000:1 on the HD750. Street prices are being listed at $4,995.00 and $7,495.00 respectively, but I will have final pricing on Friday. I will let you know my impressions and anyone wanting to see about the new projectors I will give you my contact information at that time as well.

Hi I have noticed other websites claiming 32,000 to 1 CR for the RS10 and 50,000 to 1 CR for the RS20. I could see the RS10 selling for under $4500 so if the CR specifications published on these other sites are right the RS10 would be very attractive.
