Gaming and Lag Times – BenQ vs Epson Projectors

Greetings gamers, etc.

OK, I’m not the guy to write about gaming.  I’ve got two hard core gamers doing that – Pete and Scott.  But, Pete’s just blogged on the Epson Home Cinema 5010 as a gaming projector and I just shipped him the W7000 (click for review) so that’s next on his list.

BenQ W7000 Projector Update – Calibration

UPDATE: The BenQ W7000 calibration update has been posted! Read the review here.

Greetings BenQ W7000 and home theater projector fans everywhere!

I’m going to post our calibration settings tonight!   These settings are the ones that Mike came up with for the old engineering sample.  The “final” W7000 firmware, though has done some fixing, including the color tables.  The anomaly with Cyan, seems to be gone.   Mike’s Read the rest of this entry »
