The Art of Home Theater Projectors, is a blog created by Art Feierman (of course). (I’ve been tempted to take the handle “Artful Bogger”, but that’s probably pushing it).

There have been many reasons for launching this blog, and one of the most significant ones relates to the reviews I publish on my site - Projector Reviews. As I see it, this blog is a complement to the work I do there. Since Projector Reviews has no user forum, this blog may serve many as an interactive medium to comment, and learn more.

As I try to keep visitors up to date as to what reviews are upcoming, especially those that are imminent, I receive lots of emails from people who just can’t wait. I decided that it would be fun, (and save me time answering lots of separate emails), by putting up my thoughts on projectors as I work through the review process. Since it is typically 10 days to 2 weeks from the time I start working on a review, and the review posting, this should be plus for everyone.

I’ll also use the blog as a place where I can discuss points raised by our site visitors, many will be FAQ type questions and answers, and I see using a blog as a more interactive way to share the questions and answers with all those interested. I’ll try to be somewhat selective, though, in what I post. It would be too easy to end up doing 20 - 30 posts a week, and that’s just not practical

Lastly, I plan to blog on related topics… all kinds of things that relate to home theaters and home cinema. I might comment on a new wireless HDMI device, or significant shift in industry pricing, or the current status of the Blu-ray vs. HD-DVD war. The number of topics possible, seems endless. Only my time, is not.
