Epson Cinema 400 Home Theater Projector Review
Epson offers one of the best warranties in the industry for their home theater projectors.
The Epson Cinema 400 comes with a 2 year, parts and labor warranty. Most home theater projectors today have either a one year warranty, or two (though there are a very few with 3 years).
What makes Epson’s warranty a “cut above” is Epson’s “Road Service” overnight replacement program.
Should your Cinema 400 develop an (under warranty) problem over the warranty period, Epson will overnight you a replacement. When you receive it, you simply ship back your broken one in the box that brought you the replacement. It’s that simple.
You’ll have to give them a credit card (to assure them that you will return the broken one) but they won’t charge your card, unless you keep both!
On top of that, my experience with Epson, is that they also have excellent customer support.
And if that weren’t enough, Epson is known for building extremely reliable products. (As the former owner of a large online reseller, my company routinely sold about a thousand Epson projectors a year, with less DOAs and lower failure rates than any other line we carried.)
