Epson Home Cinema 1080UB Projector Warranty

Check out how the Epson Home Cinema 1080 UB fared in our comparison report. Epson provides one of the very best warranties available, on the Home Cinema 1080UB: Two years, parts and labor, with Epson's Road Service overnight replacement program for both years. I say "one of the best" because, right off the bat, there is one projector with an obviously better warranty, Epson's Pro Cinema 1080UB, with 3 years, plus a 3 year replacement program.

Most 1080p projectors come with a two year warranty, but replacement programs are rare. Optoma offers two years on most of theirs (three on the extremely bright, and very expensive HD81-LV. BenQ offers three years on their top of the line W10000 (about to be the W20000), and with it a 1 year replacement. The less expensive BenQ 1080p projector comes with just a one year warranty. Panasonic comes with one year, while Sanyo has three years, and the two Mitsubishi 1080p projectors have two years, all without replacement programs. On the higher end, the Sony 1080p projectors, and the JVC RS1, and RS2 both come with two years.

My own long term experience (as a reseller), leads me to tell you that Epson also has rather excellent customer support and service, should you need it. Epson has also been known for building extremely reliable projectors.
