InFocus IN2116 Projector Overview
The InFocus IN2116 WXGA projector is a native widescreen 16:10 aspect ratio business projector featuring a brightness level that is on the brighter side at 3000 lumens. Not considered an ultra high brightness projector, but definitely capable of performing well in a lot of different environments. The projectors native resolution is 1280x800 pixels.
The IN2116 can support even higher analog resolutions and performed it supports HD video resolutions as well. The IN2116 uses DLP technology to produce an image with a contrast ratio of 2100:1. The virtually identical InFocus IN2114 has a native resolution of 1024x768 which means it has an aspect ratio of 4:3. Everything else is identical between the two units so we will focus on the IN2116 for this review.

Connectivity and functionality seem to have been a major focus when designing the IN2116. It has inputs for just about every type of source you could want to use. Since it has inputs for connectivity to your network, and the ability to present the VGA signal from your laptop/desktop via an optional wireless module called the LiteShow II it definitely is capable.
All the standard inputs are available except HDMI and DVI, but the projector is still fully capable of presenting high definition content as mentioned. InFocus has also outfitted the IN2116 and IN2114 with impressive sound capabilities.
InFocus IN2116 Projector Highlights

- Slightly higher contrast than most business projectors at 2100:1
- Quiet operation at 32 dB in Bright Mode

ProjectorNet 3.0 – Free software to control projectors and schedule on-off times
Dynamic Messaging System (DSM). An IT director can send a pop up message to all projectors connected to the network. Must like an broadcasted instant message.
Lamp can be replaced without removing the projector from the ceiling. For example, this can save a school district a lot of time and money if you have a large amount of projectors to maintain.
