JVC provides a 2 years parts and labor warranty for the RS1. Two years is typical for most 1080p projectors, with BenQ offering a 3rd year on their W10000, (but only one year on the W9000). Epson who just began shipping their Cinema 1080p, announced a change from 2 years to three, but that covers it for the 3 year warranties of under $10,000 1080p projectors.

There are several 1080p projectors with a single year warranty, including the Panasonic, and the BenQ W9000 I just mentioned.
Bottom line - a good warranty - typical, not exceptional.
