The Mitsubishi XL1550U is a mid-priced, small, and relatively lightweight (10.4 lbs.) projector designed first, for installation in small and medium sized rooms. Sporting 3100 lumens, this XGA resolution projector, offers the longest published lamp life found on today’s projectors – an impressive 5000 hours in low power (3000 hours is the norm). Like its 4000 lumen bigger brother, the XL2550U, it comes with a 3 year parts and labor warranty incuding a replacement program, networking, digital as well as analog inputs, and overall, is well endowed with features. Although the XL1550U projector comes with a standard zoom lens, Mitsubishi offers a range of optional lens, from short throw, to long telephoto.
