Since it started shipping, the Optoma's H77 has been one of the premier DLP home theater projectors on the market. It is one of the more agressively priced projectors featuring the HD2+ DLP chip found in DLP HT projectors that sell for as little as under $3000 and as much as $15,000. Getting beyond the excellent picture quality, a key benefit that sets the H77 apart from the competition is Optical Lens Shift (normally only found are far more expensive DLP projectors). This drastically simplfies most installations, and often results in the projector mounting flush or just below the ceiling, not hanging down several feet. The end result a cleaner, faster, easier, more attractive installation.
