There is no perfect projector - at any price, but I can tell you that one of the few reasons the Panasonic isn't perfect at its price range, is warranty.

Panasonic provides a basic 1 year parts and labor warranty, and that's really minimal. Most manufacturers (InFocus excepted) offer two years, and a few, three years. In addition some like Epson and Mitsubishi, have overnight replacement programs on some or all of their projectors while they are covered under warranty.

So, with a basic 1 year warranty, you just might want to ask your dealer about an affordable extra year or two.
