BenQ Goes Colorific™ at InfoComm 2013 – Press Release

June 12th, 2013 admin

Comments by Projector Reviews staff:

“Colorific” is BenQ’s new marketing initiative being introduced at InfoComm 2013 in Orlando this week.  It Seeks to Educate End Users on the Color Accuracy, Crispness, and Long-Lasting Quality of BenQ’s Next-Generation Projectors.  Read on for more information from BenQ.

Press Release

BenQ Goes Colorific™ at InfoComm 2013

IRVINE, Calif. — June 10, 2013 — BenQ America Corp., an internationally renowned provider of digital lifestyle innovations and global DLP® projector leader, today announced that the company will be kicking off its new Colorific™ initiative at InfoComm 2013. The program is geared towards educating end users on the benefits of the company’s next-generation projectors, which bring more accurate color representation, crisper contrasts, and longer-lasting quality to any application from boardrooms and classrooms to dedicated theaters and living rooms.

To produce more than one billion stunning colors compared to only 16.7 million from most LCD projectors, BenQ’s DLP projectors combine up to seven different colors to create vibrant, true-to-life images as opposed to the traditional three-color spectrum from LCD devices. BenQ projectors deliver up to three times more contrast than similar top-selling LCD models for brighter, higher contrast viewing. As a result, viewers experience a more stable picture with richer blacks, more luminescent whites, and a crisper overall projection experience. Thanks to their high contrast ratios, BenQ projectors also deliver sharper picture quality, which enables the reproduction of finely detailed images in a variety of ambient lighting settings, and adds to the flexibility of the projectors’ installation options.

Colorific represents the ability of BenQ projectors to provide quality picture over time since DLP displays do not experience light burn or color degradation over extended usage. As a result, home theater enthusiasts, educators, and business professionals experience a lower total cost of ownership over the life of their products. This translates into reductions in maintenance and replacement costs — especially after years of continuous operation — and ensures image quality always remains the same.

“The objective of BenQ’s Colorific initiative is to provide our customers with the most accurate, bright, and consistent image quality in the marketplace,” said Lars Yoder, President at BenQ America Corp. “At InfoComm 2013, we look forward to meeting as many visitors as possible to demonstrate how Colorific will change the way people perceive optimal picture quality.” Read the rest of this entry »
