Casio XJ-H2600 projector
Comments by Projector Reviews staff:
Casio entered the projector market seriously only a few years ago, with the first lineup of hybrid led/light source based projectors. The first projectors were Slim-line projectors designed first for mobility. Since then Casio has expanded its projector lineup into some mid-sized portable and fixed install projectors suitable for school classrooms and conference rooms. With this announcement Casio moves solidly into more powerful projectors suitable for larger presentation environments. The obvious strength of Casio’s led/laser light source is that it should easily outlast the projector itself, so no expensive lamps down the road. One of Casio’s mid-sized projectors recently received our Best in Classroom – Runner-up award. Impressive technology.

That pairs with a long life filter to drastically reduce cost of operation and maintenance. Comments by Projector Reviews staff:
The three new projectors in the D100 series (two XGA and one WXGA), are designed to be powerful portable projectors sporting 2600 to 3200 lumens. Most significantly these models are designed for energy and overall efficiency. Thanks to Sony’s latest technologies, including auto-dimming, these projectors can stretch lamp life up to 7000 hours – that’s more than double the 3000 lumens that for years has been considered the standard for eco-mode lamp life. This translates into far lower cost of operation than the typical competition.
