Thousands of people dress up, and take it very seriously. Some invest thousands of dollars into their costumes, and I love them for it. It’s one of the main reasons I go to Comic-Con, some of the costumes are really creative. A lot are designed, and handmade by the person wearing them. Keep in mind you are attending a conference with some of the most innovative, and creative minds in the world! I am also including various crowd pictures, click on the picture for the full-sized image. When I saw the girl in the second photo (next to Mr. Potato Head), I thought she was wearing a Casey Anthony costume. Enjoy!
OK. This blog had nothing to do with projectors either, but it was fun…was it not? However, there were a lot of gaming related costumes. I would say Comic-Con has almost as much space dedicated to gaming now, as it does for comics. A good portion of the floor is in support of upcoming video game releases, gaming tournaments, and G4 gas a pretty large booth as well. As far as I could tell, there was no projector, or electronics booth on the floor, but at the rate Comic-Con is growing who knows…maybe next year? LOL.
