Viewsonic PLED-W500 Part and Labor Warranty:

Viewsonic offers a better than usual warranty for projectors in this class.  The PLED-W500 is warranted for three years parts and labor, including the LED light source.  Most projectors with conventional lamps only offer a separate 90-day warranty on the lamp, so the W500’s three year warranty is a big plus.  Also, since the W500’s LED light source is rated at 20,000 hours, it’s unlikely that the light source would fail for the life of the projector.  As most replacement lamps for multimedia projectors are as much a one third of the cost of the PLED-W500, this adds real value to the purchase of this projector.

In addition to the three-year warranty, Viewsonic also offers their Express Exchange Service.  This service guarantees that in the event of a failure, a replacement unit will be shipped to your registered location within 48 hours (business days only).  You then send your faulty unit to Viewsonic, who also pays the freight both ways.
