We have reviewed NEC ultra short throw projectors in the past and the UM352W builds on NEC's solid reputation for producing quality projectors in this category.  This particular NEC projector is heavy in terms of having a full suite of interactive features making it suitable for presentation or collaboration in the classroom, boardroom, or training room.  NEC describes this model as:

"...a bright 3500 lumen projector that provides a complete interactive solution with built-in whiteboarding, advanced collaboration capabilities, auto set-up and content delivery over wired or wireless LAN.  With its ability to be mounted to the wall directly above the screen on which it projects, this model helps eliminate the shadows and glare typically found with standard projections systems.  Any flat surface can instantaneously be transformed into a digital whiteboard where participants can share information and annotations from computers, tablets and smart phones from withing the room or remotely.  Concurrently, the UM352W can be used to control and annotate over any PC software."

The model is targeted at both education and business markets.

The UM352W received out Hot Product Award for its combination of solid performance, great features and a competitive price.

Ask Proxima's portable WXGA projector is a no-frills, low-cost powerhouse.  It provides a terrific combination of high brightness and excellent color fidelity.Optoma's HD33 projector is Optoma's first 3D capable, low cost 1080p resolution home theater projector. Like it's more expensive HD3300 sibling (almost identical but sold through big box houses and local dealers, instead of online, where prices tend to be less), the HD33 is rather capable, and claims to be a very bright projector, something needed for decent 3D. Let's see how good this HD33 is. If you are familiar with Optoma's HD20, the HD33 will remind you of it. They are similar in some areas of performance, though the HD33 looks a bit better. This projector review of the Vivitek H1080FD projector has been completed. You will find nine pages of information on the H1080FD projector, organized in the Table of Contents below. Enjoy! We started this Viewsonic Pro8200 projector review with a pre-production projector, received, I believe, right before first shipments to dealers. We did experience several issues with the first projector, which shall be discussed later. A Pro8200 with the latest firmware, arrived about 3 weeks later - a few days before publishing this. It seems to have addressed the issues we noted. Ultimately, the Viewsonic Pro8200 can be considered a dual purpose projector - a cross-over. It can be used for business or education presentations, or fit right at home as a very nice home entertainment projector.
