Canon REALiS WUX4000 Projector Overview
The Canon REALis WUX4000 is a high performance projector with a native resolution of WUXGA(1920x1200). Definitely not your average projector by any means. The Canon WUX4000 falls into a class of projector that definitely not the typical machine that you will find in a conference room or classroom, however, having said that, it is probably one of the best solutions for the technical education market. I am referring to educational facilities that teach high resolution software programs like Autodesk and other 3D modeling, or scientific tools.
The WUX4000 is bright, at a manufacturer rated 4000 lumens. For measured lumens ratings make sure to keep reading. Our performance section provides all the readings in the various projection modes. One other thing to mention is that the projector uses LCOS technology, not your typical LCD or DLP image technology.
The REALis WUX4000 is very capable and has full connectivity to just about any type of signal you can imagine wanting to display. It has a HDMI port obviously, and has the 1.3 version so expect to be able to project full 1080p video uncompressed. Being networkable, you will be able to control all of the projectors functions right from any computer connected to the same network.
Interchangeable lenses are among some of the very nice features of the WUX4000. It accepts three Canon optical lenses. Which one you choose will depend on your particular needs. The projector does not come with a lense. Along with the ability to change lenses, the projector features powered lens shift to make adjusting the image to the screen as easy as possible.

Canon REALiS WUX4000 Projector Special Features
Resolution
The WUX4000’s resolution is high enough at 1920x1200 that the projector is suited to just about every application imaginable. Will provide a great user experience for those teaching software with densely rich interfaces where screen real estate is a necessity.
Vertical and Horizontal Motorized Lens Shift
Installation is made easier with the projectors motorized lens shift. With lens shift you can place the projector in areas that you might not have considered, and still be able to get the image to display very square without using keystone correction. Lens shift will allow you to place the projector off center of the screen if need be, and then move the image via the left, right, up and down, buttons in the menu.
Ability to Accept Three Lenses
Whether you need a long focus zoom lens, a wide angle lens or the standard 1.5x zoom lens, you can rest assured that the Canon WUX4000 is capable of accepting the lens types to meet your installation requirements. .
