First of all, thanks a lot for this excellent review! I have read it all and I can assure anyone this is very informative.
I would like a pro to help me out here. In this review, there are a few mentions about this projector not being the best option for a cave/dedicated room, mainly because of the not-so-good black levels it has. What I got from it all, is: the Epson 2030 is better for a living room with a little bit to medium ambient lights.

The room I would like to put the projector barely has lights because of blackout curtains and I think the black levels would bother me a little bit.
What other options to a Full HD 2D/3D 3LCD with good brightness and colors besides 3020 and 5020/5030 do I have to put in that room, under US$2,000? I live in Brazil, the prices here are a little higher than in US. The Epson 2030 are generally sold by R$4,000 (US$1,800).

    Thanks,

    Turíbio Junior.
