The Art of Home Theater Projectors

Redesigned Projector Website Days Away

Greetings projector fans, this us just a brief update.  We’re trying to get the Projector Reviews redesigned website up this week.  With a little luck that means before Thursday, but I can’t even contemplate not getting it up this week.

I sure hope you all like it.   We’ll be fixing minor things for weeks – I believe in all, we now have something approaching 10,000 pages after putting everything in our new WordPress content management system.  Fingers are crossed.

First you should know that there are some reviews already competed in the new site.  They were built there because we thought we’d be live a couple of weeks earlier.  The Epson Home Cinema 750 HD by Tony, the Pro Cinema 4030 by me, and a Ricoh business projector review by Mike were all built on the new site.  I had Lisa make an old site version of the Ricoh but home theater reviews are just too long to create in both formats.   We’re just waiting for the switch to be thrown, and you can read them.

I believe all the new reviews and articles are going to look and work great.  There are definitely rough edges converting old reviews, but they are still very workable, but you’ll notice a few things.   (Going from pages of images to players, makes a mess of captions for one thing.

Well, I just wanted to let you know.

PS.  Sony just emailed me today that I will receive the Sony VPL-HW55ES next week – outstanding. I’ll be working on it and the Optoma HD131xe.  Dave should have the Optoma GT760 up on the new site this weekend.   Soon we’ll be Rockin’ and Rollin’   Thanks! -art
