Sony VPL-HW30ES Home Theater Projector Review
The Sony VPL-HW30ES comes with a three year parts and labor warranty. That’s about as long as standard warranties get on home theater projectors.
By comparison, warranties of projectors in the $3500-and-up price class, do vary. There are a few with only one year warranty. The bulk of models out there have two year warranties, and some, like this Sony, come with three years parts and labor.
Sony’s warranty is a pretty standard one, without any loaner, or replacement program.
Keep in mind, though, that the Sony is sold through local dealers, so if you want some sort of additional support program, your dealer likely will offer you some options, so that if the price is right…
All considered, the Sony VPL-HW30ES has a better warranty than most of the competition.
