INFOCOMM 2025 RECAP: PROJECTOR INNOVATIONS FOR BUSINESS AND EDUCATION

Hisense

In this video, Mark Major from Hisense covers the notable Hisense projectors highlighted at InfoComm 2025. In addition to the new interchangeable lens professional model, Hisense was also demonstrating the new L9Q Laser TV. For those seeking a portable solution, Hisense was also showcasing the new M2 Pro compact Tri-laser projector.

FijiFilm

Fujifilm utilized its booth for the North American debut of the Fujifilm Z6000, the company’s first 4K ultra-compact projector, which delivers 6,000 lumens of brightness. Designed for maximum installation flexibility, the Z6000 features a folding, rotating Fujinon ultra-short-throw lens with industry-leading lens shift, making it ideal for challenging projection environments.

Ricoh

At the Ricoh booth, we explore the new UHL3660 Ultra Short Throw Laser Projector, a standout model that delivers an impressive 6,500 lumens of brightness. This compact unit is capable of vivid, high-impact images—even in brightly lit environments.

Vivitek

In the Vivitek booth, they showcased their lineup of large venue and 4K projectors, designed for events, education, and professional installations. This included the 30,000 lumen DU9059Z, which is the brightest single-chip projector on the market.

Christie

Christie showcased an impressive lineup of technologies designed for everything from immersive experiences to high-impact installations. This year marks the U.S. debut of the Christie Sapphire, the world’s first 40,000-lumen hybrid RGB/ laser phosphor projector. Other showstoppers include stunning projection-mapped sculptures, immersive room environments using projectors. 

Barco

In the Barco booth, they showcase their latest innovations in immersive projection and visualization.  The spotlight is on the new QDX series, which is a 41,000 lumen 4K native 3-chip DLP RGB laser projector. Barco also highlights their expanding single-chip projector lineup, including the G-Series and the I600, which has helped Barco earn the title of #1 DLP projector brand in the Americas.

Optoma

Optoma highlights its immersive collaboration with Virtuality Systems through an exciting golf and multi-sport simulation experience, powered by a ZK810TST, an 8500-lumen 4K short-throw projector. Optoma also showed a couple of notable professional projectors, including the ZK1320, a 13,500-lumen 4K UHD+ projector (3840 x 2400). Also featured is the ZU2200, a 22,000-lumen WUXGA model with eight optional lenses, built-in edge blending and warping capabilities

Screen Innovations

Screen Innovations demonstrated its Black Diamond Fusion screen material.  This upgraded version doubles the viewing cone compared to the original Black Diamond, offering a remarkable 140-degree viewing angle while maintaining up to 90% light rejection and a 1.2 gain. 
Combined with SI's newly engineered frame and retention system, the setup is faster and more efficient than ever.

Elite ProAV

The Elite ProAV Floor Riser Pro DarkUST 3 and Presenter Pro DarkUST 3 are portable, ceiling light-rejecting screens specifically designed for Ultra-Short Throw projectors. Both solutions utilize Elite ProAV's latest CLR (ceiling light-rejecting) material, called DarkUST 3. 

This material can reject up to 85% of overhead lighting while still delivering a wide viewing angle. These screens Are Ideal for environments with high ambient light, such as educational and training facilities, hotels, event rentals, and boardrooms and conference rooms.

Epson

Epson showcased how their cutting-edge 3LCD laser projectors are transforming spaces—from massive edge-blended 8K walls to interactive art installations and architectural projection mapping.

Discover Epson’s high-lumen PowerLite L Series projectors, including the new PowerLite L890 with AirPlay, Wi-Fi, and NFC support. See how Epson’s PixAlign camera and software simplify multi-projector alignment, even on curved surfaces.

AVPro Global

In the AVPro Global booth, AVPro showcased the new AC-EXO-X-PLUS-KIT, a 48Gbps fiber optic HDMI extension that also extends eARC, USB, and Gigabit Ethernet. Also on display were the new Murideo MU-STIX-G and MU-STIX-A, which are ultra compact, USB-powered HDMI signal generators and analyzers capable of handling resolutions up to 8K.

AVPro Global Holdings has officially acquired RTI Control. With video, audio, and now control under one roof, AVPro is positioned to offer fully integrated solutions for complex AV installations.

Igloo Vision 

At InfoComm 2025, Igloo Vision partnered with several projector manufacturers to demonstrate the future of immersive collaboration powered by its proprietary Igloo Core Engine software.

With installations at Epson, Fujifilm, and Panasonic booths, Igloo Vision demonstrates the power and versatility of its immersive platform. These flexible spaces support a wide range of content—from 360° videos to PowerPoint presentations—and are adaptable for use in boardrooms, classrooms, museums, and architectural visualization.

Cleerline

Cleerline’s patented polymer coating offers exceptional strength and flexibility, making their fiber up to 10,000 times more bend-insensitive than conventional options.  With no need for cleaning, soft acrylic peel coating, and pre-terminable connectors, Cleerline proves that fiber isn't just for specialists anymore. 

Panasonic

Panasonic announced the launch of MEVIX (Media, Entertainment, and Visual Transformation), a new sub-brand created for its visual solutions, including projectors, flat panel displays, and DvLED. 
At the show, Panasonic introduces several notable projectors including the PT-RQ45K, a 40,000-lumen 3-chip DLP large venue projector.
