The LG CineBeam Qube (HU710PB) is a portable 4K DLP tri-laser lifestyle projector. Its compact size and stylish design should make it appealing to customers who usually wouldn’t consider purchasing a projector for their living space.
Although the LG CineBeam Qube is smaller than the average projector, it is a powerful performer, capable of projecting 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160p) images at sizes up to 120 inches. Equipped with an RGB laser light source, it has a rated brightness of 500 ANSI lumen with a dynamic contrast ratio of 450,000:1 and reproduces 154 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
The built-in carrying handle makes moving the CineBeam Qube from room to room easy. The CineBeam Qube features ASA (Auto Screen Adjustment) to simplify setup. ASA removes the need to focus and size the image for the different types of spaces in which the Qube can be used. ASA has an auto-focus and placement feature that automatically optimizes image placement and size for a superb viewing experience. Just pop the projector down and turn it on, and the CineBeam Qube will focus and size the picture for the space that it is being projected on.
The CineBeam Qube also supports HDR, recognizing signals encoded in HDR10 and HLG. HDR technology displays images with wider colors, brightness levels, and contrast than SDR, making images appear more realistic and true to life by reproducing the same brightness and color levels in real-world scenes.
Based on our experience with other portable LG projectors, the CineBeam Qube should deliver excellent SDR and HDR picture quality when viewed on smaller screens in a room with little ambient light.
Running on the latest version of LG webOS, the CineBeam Qube provides intuitive control and easy access to diverse streaming services, such as Disney+, Prime Video, YouTube, and Netflix, which are not always available on every portable projector. When not in use for content consumption, users can turn on the projector's image-mapping function and enjoy captivating digital images that enhance the ambiance of their space.
