We have written extensively in our projector reviews about screen options. Stewart Filmscreen consistently scores high marks for getting the most from your projector image in a variety of viewing conditions. Below, Stewart announces new products and applications at InfoComm.
Press Release
TORRANCE, CA and (InfoComm) ORLANDO, FL – June 12, 2013 - Stewart Filmscreen Corporation® (Booth #2243), industry leader in precision projection screen technologies for the residential and commercial markets, is demonstrating compelling applications for simulation, digital signage, communication, and video conferencing environments at this year’s InfoComm.
“We’re excited to be participating in InfoComm this year,” said Grant Stewart, CEO, Stewart Filmscreen. “The big trend we’re seeing with our customers who work in the A/V commercial market is their preference towards larger interactive displays, such as video walls, large rear-projection screens, and touch screen applications. At our booth this year, we will be focusing on core Stewart technologies and showcasing improvements to key products in order to support this growing segment of the market. We believe that customers will leave InfoComm with sense that Stewart is a partner who is committed to making their lives easier, who is responsive to their needs, and who will enable them to continue to satisfy the ever-evolving needs of their customers.”
One example of Stewart’s responsiveness to its customers is the new mounting system now available on Luxus Deluxe ScreenWalls. The improvements provide for an overall easier install than ever before, and it also comes with a built-in leveling system to help ensure the job is done right the first time.
Other highlights at the show will be as follows:
VISIONARY ELECTRISCREEN
Also on display at Stewart Filmscreen’s booth will be a larger version of the Visionary Electriscreen. Visionary is among the industries’ most install-friendly ceiling-mounted roll down screens. Its two-piece construction allows for the housing to be installed at the rough phase of construction with the screen installation occurring later, thus protecting it from potential damage due to continued construction around the screen. A re-engineering of the batten and other components have allowed for the extension of the design to larger screen sizes than ever before. Available with variety of Stewart's front or rear projection materials, the Visionary features a self-finishing architectural white bottom plate for a finely finished aesthetic when the screen is not in use. The recessed screen housing also features adjustable drywall flanges to accommodate various ceiling configurations.
CRYSTALVIEW RP MATERIAL
CrystalView is a rear projection material based on a combination of Stewart’s proprietary custom-made neutral density formulation and their ultimate quality diffusion technology. CrystalView can add further value when it is furnished in a laminated safety glass product, which can be mounted closer to floors or doors than ordinary glass. Stewart's proprietary substrate and surface coupling process results in a screen that can function flawlessly in extremely high levels of ambient light.
Stewart Filmscreen’s new mounting system, Visionary Electriscreen, CrystalView, and other award-winning screen solutions will be on display at InfoComm 2013 booth #2243 from June 12-14.
