LAS VEGAS, 2014 International CES â Jan. 7, 2014 â BenQ America Corp., an internationally renowned provider of visual display solutions, today unveiled the latest addition to its popular mini projector series: the BenQ Ultra-Lite GP20. Designed to provide enjoyment anywhere in the home or enhance presentations in the office, the easy-to-use, portable GP20 brings higher brightness and Colorificâ¢ image quality to the mini projector series. In addition, it introduces powerful features such as mobile high-definition link (MHL) connectivity and PC-less projection.
Building on the success of the GP2 mini projector, the GP20 offers the perfect balance of size and performance. While larger than the palm-sized GP2, the 720p GP20 Projector maintains its portability while offering a higher brightness of 500 ANSI lumens and native WXGA (1280×800) resolution, with support for resolutions up to UXGA (1600×1200). With new features including mirroring for MHL-equipped devices, the GP20 enables easy notebook PC, cable, console gaming, or smart device connection for transferring small-screen content directly to the projector from any portable device. In addition, the GP20 offers simple plug-and-play and wireless streaming to allow users to share HD-quality presentations, movies, videos, photos, and games on a display up to 240 inches. For a big viewing experience in tiny spaces, the GP20 Projector provides a display of 60 inches at distances down to 1.5 meters. Audio can be played through the unit’s two built-in 3-W SRS speakers or through external speakers via the Audio Out port.
The GP20 Projector is packed with multimedia connectivity including USB and SD card viewers and a document viewer for MicrosoftÂ® Office and PDF documents. A plug-and-play USB feature allows for a PC-less experience. Users simply save content to a USB thumb drive, plug the drive into the projector, and project the content without the need for a PC or file conversion. In addition, a USB file transfer function lets users store their multimedia files to the unit’s 2GB on-board memory.

ELMO USA Introduces the BOXi-T200, a New 150-Lumen Portable HD Video Projector for Viewing TV, Movies, Video Games, and Photos
LAS VEGAS, January 7, 2014 â Offering a pocket full of power in a compact, sleek design, ELMO USA introduced the BOXi T-200, an HD LED video projector designed to meet the diverse portability needs of both mobile professional and consumers, here at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show.Â Â The small, lightweight 150-lumen DLP projector, a mere 10.6 ounces in a footprint smaller than 4×6 inches, produces sharp, bright, high contrast images as large as 68 inches diagonally.Â With a retail price of $429, the BOXi T-200 features a single HDMI connection for video sources and incorporates both a 1 watt mono speaker, and a mini-stereo output jack for sending sound through an audio system, speakers, or headphones.

For more than 15 years now, PMA Research has collected monthly sell-through data from leading North American projector dealers, retailers, web resellers and distributors. Their Tracking Service family of monthly reports offers timely data and analysis on unit sales, true volume-weighted street prices, and inventories of front projectors for these channels.
Each month, PMA Research posts the âTop 5â Projector Lists for the following product categories:
Pico and Personal Projectors â This âTop 5â³ list is compiled from data collected from PMAâs monthly Retail Projector Tracking Service sample, which is made up of North American retailers and web resellers. For Pico and Personal projectors, the October results showed Optoma took top honors with the PK-320. 3M landed the number two spot with the MP410.
