Optoma HD81 Projector Review – Warranty

Optoma provides a 3 year parts and labor warranty. Of the 1080p projectors so far, it comes in a close second, in terms of warranty, behind BenQ, who also offers 3 years, parts and labor, but also has a first year replacement program.

Still, three years is great! Panasonic offers only one year, and Mitsubishi, two.

Of course you can buy extended warranties for the Panasonic or Mitsubishi, but most buyers don’t have the same confidence in a 3rd party extended warranty, as they have with a manufacturer’s warranty!
