The Sony VPL-HW50ES comes with a three year parts and labor warranty. That’s about as long as standard warranties get on home theater projectors.

By comparison, warranties of projectors in the $3500-and-up price class, do vary. There are a few with only one year warranty. The bulk of models out there have two year warranties, and some, like this Sony, come with three years parts and labor.
