For those of you who loved the value and performance of XGIMI’s lineup of projectors but really wanted or needed an ultra-short-throw projector, XGIMI now has you covered. XGIMI has entered the ultra-short-throw projector arena with a new Laser TV called the Aura.

I got a press release kit that stated, “XGIMI’s new Aura 4K UST Laser Projector shows why your next TV isn’t going to be a TV.” Of course, the bar is set high with such a bold statement from XGIMI, and I have high expectations of this new projector. Keep in mind that XGIMI has won international awards over the years, such as CES Best Innovation Award, iF Design Awards, Red Dot Design Award, EISA Best Product, and Good Design Award 38 times. With that being said, I suspect that my expectations will be met, and if not, I will let you know.

The Aura ultra-short-throw 4K Laser projector rounds out XGIMI’s model lineup

XGIMI is rounding out its projector lineup with the introduction of the Aura. XGIMI has plenty of smart laser and LED based projectors. Take, for example, the advanced technology-laden Horizon Pro, the ultimate adventure companion Halo+, which has a built-in battery for ultra-portability, and the small but mighty Elfin.
