Dell includes their 2-year Advanced Exchange Warranty on the 1610HD. If you have a problem with your 1610HD during the warranty period, you call their toll-free phone support line. In the event that the problem cannot be resolved by speaking with a technician, Dell will ship you a replacement part (if it’s determined to be a user-serviceable part) or a complete unit (may be a refurbished unit) the next business day. You then ship back the defective unit to Dell. While some manufacturers offer a 3-year warranty, this is still a very good warranty that is often seen in higher end projectors.
