ViewSonic PJD5555w Multimedia Projector Review – Specifications Viewsonic PJD5555w Projector : Special Features – SuperColor™ technology, DynamicEco™ Mode, SonicExpert™ technology, 3D Blu-ray Ready SuperColor™ TechnologyViewSonic’s proprietary SuperColor Technology combines an exclusive color wheel design with dynamic lamp control capabilities to improve color performance in both bright and dark presenting environments. Instead of increasing the white color segment to enhance brightness, ViewSonic’s SuperColor 6-Segment color wheel decreases the white segment while increasing the yellow and cyan segments. In practice, this results in colors that are less washed out than usual in the brightest modes. Dynamic Eco™ Mode ViewSonic’s DynamicEco timer function automatically decreases the power consumption of the lamp by up to 70% when no input signal can be detected for a set period of time. The time period can be set to 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes. This results in an average extension of lamp life to 8000 hours, with the potential to increase it up to 10,000 hours. SonicExpert™ TechnologyViewSonic’s proprietary SonicExpert™ technology incorporates an enlarged speaker chamber to allow its 2 watt amplifier to deliver a claimed 20Hz – 20Khz sound range. In reality a small, low powered speaker has little chance of reproducing low frequencies to an audible level. What this technology does do is provide a fuller sound than most built-in speakers, thus reducing the boxy effect typically heard. It also allows for connecting to any HDMI-enabled devices such as PCs, laptops, tablets, and media players. Optional 3D glasses are required. 1.
