BENQ X1300i GAMING PROJECTOR REVIEW

Overview

Today I get to talk to you about a cool looking performance projector that BenQ is releasing. I’m talking about the BenQ X1300i Smart Entertainment Home projector.

The X1300i is a gaming optimized home entertainment projector packing a ton of powerhouse  features. This beautiful little projector features a square compact design that is becoming associated with gaming projectors and I think it’s a great design. The X1300i is a 120Hz 4 LED PJ with a 3000 ANSI lumens rating, according to BenQ, and a 5,000,000:1 published contrast ratio. I’ll go down the list of features in detail below but I have to say the standout for me is BenQ’s GameMaestro audio and video presets and the built in sound system tuned by treVolo. There’s so much to talk about so here we go.

What is a gaming projector? At its core, it’s a projector like any other. A gaming projector is a device designed to project content onto a large screen for business or entertainment purposes. It has a light source and lens and a variety of inputs designed to accept video from a range of home entertainment devices such as Blu-rays, DVDs, media boxes, gaming systems and PC’s. Gaming projectors use the same core technology as any other type of projector, while offering specific components with a higher level of performance, much like a gaming PC compared to a standard PC.

Put simply, gaming projectors are faster, louder, more visually dynamic and tuned for gaming content. This results in a superior gaming experience for the user. And, regarding the BenQ X1300i–it just looks cool!

The X1300i is rated to deliver 3,000 lumens of light provided by a powerhouse 4LED light engine boasting an impressive 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio. The X1300i LED light engine is rated for up to 20,000 hours of light engine life in its Normal (High Power) mode.

The X1300i, like other BenQ i-series projectors, comes with a BenQ HDMI smart stick offering full access to a wide range of Google Chromecast features. The smart stick also comes with the Android TV operating system, providing access to over 5000 Android TV-dedicated applications through the Google Play App Store.

The BenQ X1300i is a Full HD (1920 x 1080) 4LED DLP HDR projector is specifically designed with a gaming focus. So, what does that mean? It means this projector offers an amazing array of supercharged features and technology all geared to make your gaming experience more immersive, dynamic and enjoyable. BenQ is aiming to have the X1300i take you where other “Gaming” projectors have yet to go.
