BenQ W500 Home Theater Projectors - Warranty

BenQ offers the basic one year parts and labor warranty on the W500.

That is fairly typical for entry level 720p home theater projectors. The competition is also mostly one year parts and labor, including: Panasonic's PT-AX100U (more expensive) and the Mitsubishi HC1500. The more expensive Sanyo PLV-Z5 offers 3 years parts and labor warranty, while the just slightly more expensive Epson Home Cinema 400, offers 2 years parts and labor, with an overnght replacement program for both years - the best of the warranties on entry level home theater projectors

Bottom line

A good basic warranty, typical of projectors in its price range, but there are those with an extra year, out there.
