Today Epson has both announced and made available for purchase a new addition to their stable of streaming entertainment projectors. This projector is built for the community of gamers craving a bigger, more immersive gameplay experience.
With 2,800 lumens of color and white brightness, the Home Cinema 2350 is built to offer stunning images and color accuracy in a variety of lighting conditions for late-night or all-day gaming sessions.
The Home Cinema 2350 is a true 3-chip 3LCD smart gaming projector featuring Epson's proprietary 4K PRO-UHD technology. The Home Cinema 2350 offers best-in-class brightness along with outstanding color accuracy. It maintains excellent color brightness without the color issues sometimes seen with other projection technologies.
HDR provides a major improvement in dynamic range as well as color vs non-HDR content. It lets you see more detail in the shadows and the bright areas of the picture while delivering more saturated lifelike colors. HDR10 is commonly used for UHD Blu-ray discs (4K movies) and recorded streaming content. The Home Cinema 2350 also supports HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma), which is used for live broadcasts. HDR10 and HLG bring out a wide range of color and detail that could otherwise be missed in both bright and dark scenes.
The Home Cinema 2350 can support 120 Hz gaming at a resolution of 1080p or 4K gaming at 60 Hz. In addition, the projector's low latency mode provides an input lag time under 20 ms combining responsive gaming with the latest generation of gaming consoles and even higher-end gaming PCs.
The projector's 2,800 lumens of brightness help create an immersive gaming experience in almost any setting, whether friendly or competitive.
"Leveling up the gaming scene, the new Home Cinema 2350 offers a powerful set of features in a compact form factor, including industry-leading input lag-time performance, incredibly bright image, and support for immersive 4K content, along with an epic projected image size up to 500 inches for engaging experiences that will make players feel as though they are in (the game) world," said Fernando Tamashiro, Product Manager, Epson America, Inc.
He continued, "Building off of Epson's top-selling Home Cinema 2000-series projector line, the Home Cinema 2350 is a versatile and powerful solution for enjoying your favorite streaming and gaming content on a big screen."
The Home Cinema 2350 features Lens Shift capability making installation flexible with a +/- 60 percent vertical lens shift that comes in useful when installing the projector on tables, bookshelves, ceilings, and more. The Home Cinema 2350's ability to shift the projector's lens makes it easier than ever to take big-screen gaming and entertainment virtually anywhere.
The projector features a built-in Integrated Audio Technologies 10 W bass-reflex speaker system providing big sound to go with a big picture. The Home Cinema 2350 functions as a Bluetooth wireless audio device, making it a convenient, all-in-one sound solution.
The Home Cinema 2350 also includes the latest Android TV built right into the projector. Android TV makes it easy to stream your favorite Twitch and YouTube gaming channels or switch to movie night and watch all your favorite streaming channels.
The Epson Home Cinema 2350 includes Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, and more. Android TV on the Home Cinema 2350 is easily controlled with an included simple-to-use remote control providing access to handy Google features, including Voice Search with the Google Assistant.
The smart feature built into the Home Cinema 2350 makes it an excellent solution for those who desire immersive gaming and home entertainment experiences.
The Home Cinema 2350 4K PRO-UHD1 3-chip 3LCD Smart Gaming Projector ($1,299 MSRP) is now available through the Epson online store and select retailers. The Home Cinema 2350 comes with a 2-year limited projector warranty, a 90-day lamp, and a two-business-day replacement with free shipping.
It's exciting to see Epson provide even more focus on the home entertainment, specifically gaming segments, of the projector markets. The Home Cinema 2350 looks to be a compelling addition to Epson's already impressive projector offerings.
