Epson PowerLite Pro Z10005UNL Projector Review - Warranty

Posted on August 2, 2015 by Art Feierman

Warranty

The Z10005UNL has Epson’s usual three year parts and service warranty on the projector and a 90-day warranty on the lamps.  While that alone is a very good warranty, Epson makes it much better with their Extra Care Road Service for all three years.  The way it works is if the projector fails and you can’t wait for it to be repaired, regardless of where you are in the U.S. or Canada, a phone call to Epson will send a replacement projector on its way to you.  If you call late enough in the day, it can take Epson an extra day to get the replacement projector shipped.  When the replacement unit arrives, you simply use the prepaid airway bill and packaging provided to send the defective projector back to Epson.

In addition, each Z10005UNL comes with a PrivateLine technical support card with a special phone number and PIN for fast access to a support technician, there’s no messing around with switchboards, or Epson printer techs, right to a projector support person.  Overall the Epson support is the best in the business.
