Mitsubishi WD380U-EST Projector - Warranty

Mitsubishi offers their usual excellent warranty coverage for the WD380U-EST, with 3 years parts and labor on the projector.  Of particular note is the lamp, which is covered by a one year or 500 hours (whichever comes first) warranty.  With many manufacturers only warranting the lamp for 90 days, this is a potentially money-saving feature.  When it comes to service, Mitsubishi has an express replacement service.  The customer obtains warranty service by calling a toll free number and speaking to a technical support person.  If a replacement projector is necessary, a replacement unit is shipped within 24 hours after warranty verification for overnight, next business day delivery (when and where available).
