NEC NP-PA521U Projector Review - Warranty

NEC NP-PA521U PROJECTOR:  Warranty    

The NEC NP-PA531U has a 3 year parts and labor warranty for the projector itself while the lamp carries a 1 year or 500 hour (whichever comes first) warranty.  For the first year NEC provides their InstaCare (TM) service which offers the projector owner their choice of either a 3 business day repair service or a next business day exchange.  This is better repair/replacement service than offered by some business projector manufacturers, especially for the first year.  However, certain other manufacturers do offer a quick exchange program for the fully warranty period (i.e., not limited to just the first year).
