Canon WX6000 Parts and Labor Warranty

The WX6000 has a three year parts and service warranty on the projector and a 120-day warranty on the lamps. At first glance, this seems to be a rather average warranty for projectors in this class. However, Canon also includes their Projector Protection Program ("Triple P") with the WX6000. Triple P is a free service program that provides a loaner projector of equal or greater value (by calling a toll free number) in the event that a qualifying unit is in need of repair during the three year duration of the warranty. As is typical, this program does not include the lamp and replacement lamps for the WX6000 sell for around $450.
