The 2013 Classroom Projector Report is sponsored by:
Each spring we review a mix of about 15 education oriented projectors. From that we present our Best In Classroom awards (and other awards). This page looks at the winners for the upcoming 2013-2014 school year.
All of the projectors considered, had to be received for review by mid April, and still be in full production though the summer (of 2013), when schools buy projectors en mass, for installation before the fall school year begins. A number of these education oriented projectors we’ve reviewed for this report have just started shipping recently others have been around longer.
Please note: On this page, on some of the charts, and elsewhere, you will sometimes find links (and comments) about previous winners of our Best In Classroom awards, if those projectors are still current models. We do not consider these older projectors for new awards, but any projector good enough for a Best In Classroom award last year, is certainly capable of competing with most of this year’s newest projectors.
On this page we link to the Winners of our Best In Classroom awards with comments, for the most impressive projectors we’ve reviewed for education. In addition a number of projectors have received (in addition, or alone) our more general, Hot Product and Special Interest awards. While in this report we are discussing projectors for education, almost all of these projectors are equally competent in business, and other commercial environments as well. Hot Product awards are based on an individual projector’s performance, and value proposition, whereas Best In Classroom awards instead choose from all of the reviewed projectors to pick the best overall, in several categories.
We finished off this year’s education projector report with 15 separate projectors reviewed…
As was the case last year, emails and conversations have been going back and forth between myself, and Tony, and Mike (the other reviewers), as we sorted out which were the most deserving.
This year we decided on a wider variety of projectors, than last year. As a result also a wider variety of awards. Click on an award for additional commentary about the award winner.
