Planar 7060 Projector Review - Warranty

Not bad, not bad at all. Two years parts and labor. Also consult your dealer. Since Planar will be selling these through your "local" installation minded dealer, many of these may provide you a loaner where practical, if you should have a service issue.

Most under $3000 home theater projectors today have either a 1 year, or a two year warranty (seems like more and more one year warranties over the last couple of years). There are, however, some better warranties. Epson provides the same two years, but with an overnight replacement program, for both years. BenQ offers 3 years, and a first year 2 day replacement program.

Still, one of Planar's most direct competitors is certainly going to be InFocus, who only offers a one year warranty. Again, Planar's warranty... not bad at all!
