OVERVIEW

Wemax Go Advanced has a smart operating system
Feng OS operating system

The Wemax Go Advanced is a smart all-in-one Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) portable Digital Light Processing (DLP) projector that uses a Texas Instruments 0.23" Digital Micromirror Device (DMD). Wemax rates the brightness of the Go Advanced at 600 ANSI lumens. The laser-light source is rated to last over 25,000 hours. In addition, the Go Advanced has a built-in battery that is rated to last up to 1.5 hours.

In addition to measuring about an inch thick, the Wemax Go Advanced weighs only 1.7 lbs, making this projector potentially valuable to users that are always on the go! The Go Advanced is useful at an office, a conference, offsite event, or even in your car.

The Wemax Go Advanced uses an integrated smart operating system, designed to allow access to almost any content such as YouTube, Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Disney+, and many more with the Aptoide third-party app store. I’ve had inconsistent experiences with Aptoide so I’ll be looking at how apps from this market perform on this projector. If there are any issues the Wemax Go Advanced casting capabilities are built-in, so content can be viewed from your phone or tablet.

This projector will likely be a good smartphone companion featuring built-in wireless connectivity for watching movies, sharing files, collaborating, video conferencing, or chatting with others on a bigger screen than your phone has.

The Wemax Go Advanced delivers up to 100% of the Rec.709 color gamut for realistic color. The Go Advanced uses Bluetooth 5.0. Compared to older versions of Bluetooth, Bluetooth 5.0 provides improvements such as Bluetooth Low Energy, a wider bluetooth range, higher transfer speeds, and more. You'll have fewer delays in connecting with external bluetooth speakers and headphones and longer runtimes with lower power consumption.

This projector supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) displaying more detail in the shadows and the bright areas and delivering lifelike colors compared to non HDR projectors.

The projector is available from the Wemax store for a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $1,198.00.
