Sony VPL-CH375 Projector Review - Warranty

SONY VPL-CH375 PROJECTOR:  Warranty

The VPL-FH30 has Sony’s usual three year parts and service warranty on the projector and a 90-day warranty on the lamp.  While that’s a very good warranty, Sony also includes their "On-Time" Support Program for the first year.  The way it works is if you have a problem with the projector that cannot be solved by tech support and the projector requires repair, Sony will send a loaner projector to you for delivery in one business day.  When the replacement unit arrives, you simply use the prepaid return shipping label and packaging provided to send the defective projector back to Sony.  When you receive your repaired projector back, you ship the loaner unit back to Sony, again with the original packaging and a prepaid shipping label.

For those who wish additional coverage, the On-Time Support Program can be extended for two more years at additional cost and if even more coverage is desired the warranty with On-Time Support can be extended to 5 years total for additional cost.
