InFocus IN3916 Projector - Warranty

Posted on October 2, 2013 by Art Feierman

The InFocus IN3916 comes standard with a 5 year limited parts and labor warranty. The lamp comes with a 6 month warranty. To clarify, the 5 year warranty gets you 1 year on parts and 2 years on labor. The DLP technology is warranted for the full 5 years. Accessories are warranted for 90 days. The warranty does not stack up well against other manufacturers, but is close to the standard warranty for projectors in its class. If it is imperative that you need a unit all the time, and waiting for a repaired unit to return is a significant loss of revenue, then I highly recommend an equivalent projector from a manufacturer that offers overnight replacement programs. Epson and Mitsubishi would be one example. Keep in mind, depending on the model and capabilities of the projector; this might come at a premium.
